Care Leavers' Association

On the 16th September the Jersey Care Leavers' Association (JCLA) issued a press statement voicing their concerns about the statement made by former Deputy Chief Police Officer Lenny Harper.

Mr Harper commented that in his opinion there is a reluctance to pursue allegations though to the Court and that the victims' interests are being sacrificed. The JCLA are naturally concerned by these comments and have written to the Chief Minister in order to communicate their concerns to the Jersey Government and to request a meeting with the government to discuss these issues.
