There are many ways in which you can raise money for the CLA as an individual, as a team or with your whole department or office. Don't forget, whatever fundraising activity you take part in on our behalf, keep us updated and we can publicise it through the website.
Sponsored Events
If you would like to take part in a sponsored event on behalf of the CLA, you can create your own online fundraising page at Justgiving.com. You could do anything from a marathon to a firewalk or, for the really brave, a skydive! Once you have set up your webpage, your friends, family and colleagues can sponsor you online and the money you raise will be paid directly to the CLA. It will even add on Gift Aid automatically.
You can also get official CLA sponsorship forms by contacting the office on 0845 308 2755, or by emailing

Fancy Dress Days
You could organise a fancy dress day for your office. Choose any theme you like and people pay to take part. Those who don't take part make an extra donation! This could be a particularly good idea during National Care Leavers' Week. Then simply collect the proceeds and send them in. If you have any photos, send them too and we'll add them to the site.
Donate via Ebay

We have teamed up with eBay and MissionFish to enable our supporters to sell items on eBay and donate the proceeds to the CLA.
Whether you're a new or experienced seller, eBay for Charity makes sense:
You control what you give and your gift goes further
You can give between 10% and 100% of the final sale price from anything you sell (a £5 minimum donation applies). If your item sells, eBay will match your generosity and donate the same percentage of the final value fee as the seller donates of the final selling price. You can also Gift Aid your donation automatically online.
It's easy to use
Any seller can donate to the CLA while listing an item on eBay. The option to donate is displayed in the Pricing & Duration section of the Sell Your Item form and is also available through Turbo Lister. You can sell in almost any category of items - from Automotive to Toys & Games - and donate a portion through eBay for Charity.
Your listings stand out
This ribbon appears in the title bar of your item and in search results, allowing buyers to easily identify your listing as an authentic eBay for Charity item. Your eBay for Charity listing will also include information about the CLA and what percentage you've chosen to donate.
In addition, buyers can find your item in three areas: the category you selected, on the eBay for Charity hub and on our MissionFish homepage!
All you need to get started is an eBay seller account and an item to sell.
Start selling on eBay
If you are not already registered on eBay, you need to create an account. If you've used eBay before, sign into your eBay account and click "sell" to list an item, just as you normally do.
Choose to donate
In the Pricing & Duration section of the Sell Your Item form, choose "Donate a percentage of sale to charity" to launch the eBay for Charity feature.
Select a charity and donation percentage
Select the Care Leavers' Association in the MissionFish charity directory. If you're a new eBay for Charity user, you'll have to register with MissionFish before you finish. Then choose how much of your final sale price (10%-100%) you would like to donate. A £5 minimum donation applies.
Finish your listing
Once you selected the charity to benefit from your listing, review your listing details and submit it.
What happens next?
When your listing goes live on eBay, MissionFish let us know that you will be making a donation to us if your item sells.
When your item sells, complete your transaction with the winning bidder as usual. MissionFish will remind you to pay your donation through your MissionFish account. If you forget to pay the donation, they will collect it by charging your credit card (two weeks after the auction closes). Once they've received your donation, they will pass it on to us.
